“Fast-forward 11 years – and guess who’s back! AND in living color! You can’t keep a good villain down. Here, Ann meets another eyeful, Toni Daytona, Brad’s red-hot girlfriend. Gee… do you think sparks will fly? This was a fun series to write and to draw. We have clueless Brad smack between Miss Vicious and Miss Suspicious. Typically, the male misses the emotional dynamics that the females so clearly see. His sunny pleasure is in stark contrast to the brooding storm that’s brewing around him. Looking at these now, however, I think I could have done a better job in mixing up Toni’s poses. Her arms-crossed, angry look is repeated 6 times in 5 strips.”
