How fun to hear from recent brides—these ladies are prepared for a dress contest having survived all the thinking, deciding, and designing that went into their own wedding:
Entry numbers 94 and 95 were my designs. My name is Rowyn Golde and I live in Albany, NY.
I entered the contest because I have been a fan of Luann since I was a kid, so I feel like I’ve grown up with the characters in the comic. I also got married a year ago, so the dress designs came from thoughts I had for my own dress that wound up unused.
I myself have a comic published now, and I hope to continue with drawing and writing more stories until I can do this full time. My work can be found at www.rowyngolde.com
